The pick-up/return depot is located just outside Reykjavik, Iceland, about 5 km from Keflavik international airport (KEF). See the interactive Google Map below.

The depot is only open 1 May through 30 September. Which is to say, pick-up and return must occur in that seasonal, five-month time span.

Included in the rental rate is transfer from and/or to Reykjavik's Keflavik international airport (KEF).

The vendor also offers transfer from/to the corresponding city locations (hotels, etc), but this transfer costs EUR79 each way.

You cannot park a car at the rental depot for the duration of the motorhome rental.

Pick-up and drop-off is possible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A special EUR79 nighttime fee applies to all pick-ups and returns from 11 pm (2300 hours) to 5 am (0500 hours). Conversely, returns booked for after 5 am (500 hours) but before 11 am (1100 hours) qualify for an EUR50 discount.

The included insurance is effective throughout the entirety of Europe — Western (including Scandinavia) and Eastern, and the UK and Ireland — except for regions experiencing general and violent political crisis. You are welcome to transport your rented vehicle by ferry and/or the Channel Tunnel. However, if you plan to take the vehicle to countries outside Iceland, you must list these countries upon placing a reservation. Moreover, special terms apply to the coverage in the Baltic States, Belarus, Russia, and Poland. See our "Insurance, etc." page for more details concerning the included insurance.
