| The Apollo rates are
"flex rates." That means: (a) the rates are regularly re-set — every Sunday, in Apollo's case —
relative to supply and demand considerations;
and (b) within such weekly re-determined set of flex rates (i.e. a snapshot of a year or more of rates)
the flex rates for a particular vehicle can vary as frequently as every week thereof,
this threshold being Monday with Apollo.
Therefore if your travel dates are flexible, try changing your pick-up date forward and backward relative to that Monday threshold;
you might thus discover a considerably lower rate for the same or similar vehicle.
Moreover, flex rates tend to favor the customer insofar as the
customer places an order long before the pick-up date.
A particular flex rate is associated with every Apollo vehicle,
pick-up location, and pick-up date
— actually, with each MondaySunday duration —
and determines the daily Apollo rental rate through the 35th day of the rental,
at which point in the computation the flex rate for days 36–70 is set based on the 36th day,
and so on for every 35 days of the computation. Of course the IdeaMerge online order software performs such
computation.
The minimum official rental duration is 3 nights,
except for rentals commencing July–September or for one-way rentals,
in which cases the minimum is 7 nights, and except for rentals with pick-up at
San Francisco from 26 August 2013 to 22 September 2013, in which case the minimum is 10 nights.
If you select a shorter duration than the applicable minimum, our software will compute the price based on the
minimum duration.
All the total prices include the state and local taxes and fees.
